Synopis:

A letter from Jane, who is nursing British troops, asks Tarzan's help in obtaining a malaria serum extractable from jungle plants. Tarzan and Boy set out across the desert looking for the plants and wind up ruining a German's attempt to capture a wild horse. They arrive in an Arab city and rescue a stranded American lady magician, sentenced to be hanged for carrying a secret message to the Sheik. To obtain the plants, Tarzan must fight prehistoric monsters, Nazis, and so on.

Tarzan (Johnny Weissmuller) recebe uma carta de Jane, que está trabalhando como enfermeira para tropas inglesas, onde ela pede ajuda para os soldados ingleses que estão sofrendo de um grande mal: malária. Atendendo imediatamente ao pedido de socorro, Tarzan e Boy (Johnny Sheffield) atravessam o deserto junto à Cheetah para encontrar as ervas necessárias para fabricar o remédio. Durante a viagem, além de salvar a vida de uma ilusionista (Nancy Kelly) que fora abandonada, Tarzan conhece Paul Hendrix (Otto Kruger), um nazista disfarçado o acusa de roubo de cavalos. Agora Tarzan deverá contar com sua astúcia e força para poder escapar da prisão, salvar a vida de seus amigos, e conseguir levar até Jane a cura que ela tanto espera
