This is the most beautiful modern psalter I know.

It was produced for the Church of England in the 1970s and published in the Alternative Service Book 1980, as well as prayer books for several other countries. But my impression is that it was largely forgotten -- at any rate it never seems to have been used in American churches or even published in the USA.

While preparing this scan I discovered it hasn't been forgotten: it appears online at the bible.oremus website (as the "Liturgical Psalter"), and has just this month been re-published and is even available for kindle.

The book offered here is simply the text of the psalms preceded by an introduction, scanned from the old 1977 hardcover edition.
