During the World War II, a war-drama/psychological thriller film, set in Poland in 2012. The story of revenge by corporal Wydra, an expert executioner, for the murder of his underground-army unit.
In addition to its Polish Film Awards win for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Design, and Best Sound Editing. It also won the Silver Lion Prize at the Gdynia Film Festival in May 2012, where it debuted (in Polish theatres released in 19 October).

Director Krzyształowicz opted for a non-linear structure to recount the story of his protagonist - a Polish partisan nicknamed "Wydra" (The Otter) played by Marcin Dorocinski - who mercilessly hunts down Nazi collaborators and performs, often gory, executions with cold professionalism. These include his former schoolfriend Henryk Kondolewicz (played by Maciej Stuhr) - a successful businessman, now unhappily married to Wydra's old flame - Hanna (Sonia Bohosiewicz) - and known as an informer working for the despised Nazi occupiers. Henryk's demise causes Wydra to ponder his own past actions, and ultimately yields dramatic consequences for all when the resistance discovers a a turncoat among its own ranks. It's the murky and thrilling story, finds how a desperate times calling for desperate and cruel measures in wartime...
