1/9. Detective Inspector Wolkers visits psychiatric patient Mie, who has amnesia, in hospital, claiming she holds the key to a disappearance case. Can Mie overcome her fragile state and offer information ?

2/9. Wolkers continues his search for Thomas Spectre and is convinced that Mie must have known him. Mie realises that a fear of the woods has something to do with her admittance to the secure hospital.

3/9. Wolkers invites Mie for a walk in the woods, hoping familiar surroundings will incite her to recall potential information about the case. Mie tries to create some order in her newly acquired memories.

4/9. A flashback shows that Mie was sure evil forces in the house had a bad influence on her daughter Romy. Wolkers accuses Mie of faking her amnesia. Could an MRI scan and polygraph test clear things up ?

5/9. Mie shows fellow patient Vronsky the anonymous letters. Is someone trying to help her ? Wolkers convinces Mie to undergo hypnosis. In the past, it seems Mie's hallucinations escalated around Halloween.

6/9. The painful memories result in a total breakdown and Mie is put on suicide watch, forcing Wolkers to take a step back. Dr Mommaerts unravels more of Mie's past and releases confidential information.

7/9. Mie recalls her husband Benoit's aggressive behaviour and tells Vronsky he's not to be trusted. Wolkers tries to bribe Vronsky for more information. Mie tells Dr Mommaerts about her terrifying dreams.

8/9. Mie remembers an intense family argument. Wolkers' chances of finding Thomas Spectre alive decrease by the hour. Mie's sister Nikki visits her unexpectedly at the hospital, bringing a new revelation.

9/9. Wolkers' superior thinks he's too personally involved. But Wolkers insists on staying the course and gets a final 24 hours to solve the case, confronting Mie about Bob in an attempt to jog her memory.
