Brahms: The Viola Sonatas, The Violin Sonatas

The Viola sonatas are transcriptions of the two op. 120 Clarinet Sonatas. They and the Violin Sonatas are here exquisitely performed by Pinchas Zukerman (viola and violin) and Daniel Barenboim (piano). The recordings are from the 1970s, but were digitally remastered and re-released in the early 1990s by DG.
