Secret Band is a post-hardcore/experimental band from Sacramento, CA. It was formed by members of Dance Gavin Dance, Farewell Unknown, Ghost Runner On Third, and Atherton. The band currently features vocalist Jon Mess, guitarist Will Swan, drummer Matt Mingus, guitarist Martin Bianchini, and bassist Jordan McCoy. They self-released their eponymous debut EP on September 1, 2011. It was reissued through Blue Swan Records as a limited, numbered vinyl 10” which was re-recorded in 2014. Secret Band released their debut full-length album on July 31, 2014.

The band is comprised by Jon Mess, Will Swan, Matt Mingus, Martin Bianchini and Jordan McCoy (these last two having joined the band in 2013).
