Overtorture is a Swedish old school death metal band, formed in 2011 by ex-Grave member Mangus Martinsson. “A Trail of Death” is their sophomore full length. In this album you will find plenty traditional death metal groovy riffs, followed by crashing leads on the guitars. The vocals are definitely genre definer without any question, totally made only for this kind of music Overtorture represent… Nice doom parts in collaboration with double bass drumming bring out the perfect alloy for headbanging. Plus in “A Trail of Death” you can hear melodies within all this “hate” that this album gives out! Those up to European death metal scene should definitely check Overtorture. Killer riffs that smell like rotten corpse and a really catchy production over all.
