on (2): is an architecture-urbanism book , mostly dealing with XX century.

on (3): is good to remember than the nobel prize had in his youth the

wish to become an architect , thus developing a fine eye for architecture

and landscape. This makes the book a litte jewel for those loving the

"eastern Paris".
