This Thing Called Life is the 2nd album from New Orleans' R&B artist August Alsina. The new record arrives just one year after his acclaimed debut album, Testimony. The LP's lead single "Hip-Hop" was released in April, few monts then the singer dropped the 2nd single "Why I Do It" with Lil Wayne. The 3rd and current single "Song Cry" leaked in October.
