1999 Sony Legacy 2 cd set>EAC>WAVE>Click Repair Set at 30 Declic


All I did was take the 1999 2 cd release on Sony, and run the EAC extracted WAV files through the same light touch Click Repair program I use on vinyl rips. It took our some of the harsh noise but left the feel of the room. Later issues have taken all of the noise out of the recording, but took the feel out of the recording too. The Avid versions is especially horrid. No noise, but a harsh, flat mess.
This version still has the depth, but left a bit of the noise, better than the original files. If you want to feel Krupa's bass drum boom, if you want to hear Hampton's vibes still ring, this is the version. Again, anyone can do this at home if they have the cd and the program, but I thought it would be fun to share. Enjoy
