Four movies set in the jungle:

Roar: the B feature. Described as "The world's most dangerous movie" from all the injuries suffered at the paws of the big cats in starring roles, and "The world's most expensive home movie" for reasons which Wikipedia can make clear.

Green Mansions: somewhat surrealistic romance between a visitor from the city and a native girl who local tribes suspect is nothing but an evil spirit.

The Naked Jungle: starring Charleton Heston as a plantation owner in South America determined to defend his holdings from a wave of army ants. Probably the movie which taught America the word "marabunta".

The African Queen: the classic starring Bogart and Hepburn in Africa, fighting the river and Germans in WW1.
