Antonio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim (Born Rio de Janeiro, January 25, 1927 – Died New York, December 8, 1994), better known as Tom Jobim, was a Brazilian composer, conductor, pianist, singer, arranger and guitarist.

He is considered one of the greatest exponents of Brazilian music and one of the creators of the Bossa Nova movement. Tom Jobim is one of the names that best represents Brazilian music in the second half of the twentieth century and is practically unanimous between critics and the public in terms of musical quality and sophistication.
