Since its launch in 1990, Liquid Crystals Today, the newsletter of the International Liquid Crystal Society, has been welcomed by the liquid crystal community as a unique forum for feature articles, book reviews, conference reports and various news items relating to liquid crystal scientists, events and developments. In 2001, with the collaboration of the Society and Taylor & Francis, Liquid Crystals Today will be further developed and enhanced to create a new online edition, accessible to members of the ILCS, which would further establish it as an important link between liquid crystal technology and the more fundamental aspects of liquid crystal science
