"TPB AFK is a feature length documentary about the three Swedish filesharing Pirates who turned the global entertainment industry upside down.

Fredrik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm and Peter Sunde run The Pirate Bay, the world's largest BitTorrent tracker. Over 20 million people use it everyday to download movies, music, games or applications.

In 2008 Hollywood's MPAA, the record industry's IFPI and the Swedish Antipiracy Bureau filed a lawsuit against The Pirate Bay for contributory copyright infringement. On april 17 2009 the pirates were sentenced to 1 year in jail and ordered to pay 3.6 million dollars in damages. They have appealed the verdict.

TPB AFK chronicles the personal processes of three pirates during the trial. It also discusses the views of the establishment in interviews with representatives from the paintiffs. TPB AFK is a documentary project in progress. The film will not be released until the verdict in the final court of appeal has been given."
