Bored to Death (complete HBO series 720p) [2009-2011] torrent

First thing you need to know is this is a collection of all three seasons that user Konashine uploaded as individual seasons in 720p, and we should all thank them for the up!

On that same note, if anyone has any complaints about the things I expound upon below, you're barking up the wrong tree, I didn't create the inconsistent rips.

Same goes for including things like MediaInfo information. I'm not a member of a release team nor will I ever attempt to be, so don't hold me to their standards. If you're unhappy with my torrents, pass them by.

This one was a bit frustrating because of the inconsistency of the video. I mean, the episode content is all there and looks as it should, but the beginnings of the episodes sometimes have the HBO static opener, sometimes don't, many of the second and third season have "previously on" openers but not all, episode 8 from season 1 is missing the end credits...

It also made it quite the endeavor to re-sync the subtitles, because I couldn't count on a consistent time to adjust them by given the inconsistencies, and resyncing was necessary for every single episode. Some of them were quite involved.

I didn't use the subtitles included in Konashine's uploads because commenters said resyncing was necessary anyway, so I went to OpenSubtitles.org and grabbed non-HI subs so they would for sure be consistent as non-HI.

I did my best to get them as close to perfect as possible without rewatching the series and editing line-by-line, though I did some of that when needed. If I saw a mistake, I fixed it, but if the sync is a couple of milliseconds off in places, I don't know what to tell you, I wasn't going to waste an entire day editing. (Today happens to be Thanskgiving 2019, to boot.) At least with season 3 I just had to adjust them all forward by 29 seconds; much less effort intensive than the first two seasons.

(I especially mean that seeding bit on this torrent because we have Xfinity now and they impose a data cap on internet. I'm only going to seed this to about a 5:1 ratio at most for the time being. I'm not going to be bitched at by my dad about nearing our limit because people won't do their part.)
