Author Info:

Matt Cunningham was born into a large Anglo-Irish family in London, England

in 1969. Taught by his mother to pen rhyming 'thank you' cards, he developed

a passion for writing at an early age, which later led to a successful

career as a copywriter in the both the US and UK. He married his wife Alison

in 2007 and in May 2009 their first child, Molly May, was born. Diagnosed

with Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy at just eight weeks, she died two weeks

before Christmas that same year -- a brief, loved-filled life that inspired

'A Girl Named Dennis' Matt Cunningham's first book.
