Airburst Extreme is the follow-up to the award-winning Airburst. Re-written from the ground up to include an interactive story, the game introduces 10 different characters, each with their own Extreme powers. You’re an interstellar athlete competing for fame in Airburst matches throughout the Solar System.

The games are held 30,000 feet above the ground where the players ride large “Floaters” surrounded by balloons. A nasty spiked ball called the “Buster” flies around the arena, popping anything in its path. Luckily, you control a paddle that surrounds your Floater. This paddle can be used to protect yourself – and initiate attacks on others.

In order to win the match, you must stay afloat long enough to survive and watch your opponents plummet. As you battle from planet to planet, you begin to notice the Mars Media Megacorp is up to some foul play. Can you unravel the mystery behind their plans?
