It's a logical first step for those wanting to enter the field of project management and a practical next step for those who want to go beyond PMBOK. For those in aerospace and energy, you'll probably find yourself reaching for this book more than PMBOK for basic reference to manage your complex systems planning and tracking. It's broad in scope, not too deep, and easy to grasp. It provides enough guidance to get you moving along again when stumped.
I'd been checking and rechecking this book out at the university library until it was clear that I needed to just purchase it and leave it on my desk. It has since paid for itself many times over as I already knew it would
