authentic driver controls, you experience life in the cockpit with the same
technological wizardry available to this season?s Formula One racers, or
switch off the controls and rely on your raw driving skills. Take the
wheel in F1 2002 and take aim at the 2002 Formula One World Championship.

Real drivers, teams, cars, and tracks all taken straight from the actual
2002 racing season, will once again make appearances. Aside from this,
and all of the other options and nuances to make return appearances,
F1 2002 will also include:

* Greater accessibility, automation, and controller compatibility.

* As with practically all of EA's marquee sports franchises, yearly

And, as with practically all of EA's other marquee sports franchises,
this is usually a damn good thing. F1 2001 was an exercise in immense
satisfaction; I can only imagine 2002 will be the same, but better.

PS: I intalled this game a long time ago, but it doesn't seem to work any more.
I just get a "Catastrophic failure" when InstallShield starts.

(Thanks to big-oinker for finding the solution)

"Copy all files and folders to your harddrive (I put it all in a few folder i called f1 2002), then select all files and folders and change the properties on them (write protected on, then apply then write protected off, then apply) so they ain't write protected.

Then just start the game (not the installer) and it should launch the 3D Setup program, select video mode and let the 3D Setup test the mode and select finished, then the game should start.

The reason for the change of the write protection is to make sure the 3D Setup saves the config file."
