So far, we have solved the LPP by algebraic method or by graphical method and the components of the optimal feasible solution's may be all integers or some of them be integers and the remaining components fractions or all of them may be fractions. But from the practical points of view, there are problems where the components of the optimal solution must be all non-negative integers or some of its components may be fractions. When the components of the optimal feasible solution are all non-negative integers, the problem is called a pure integer programming.
