UFO Aftershock Fix & savegames torrent

Here are -ALL- the save files for -*EVERY*- major part of the -**ENTIRE**- UFO aftershock game. (including the very last mission!)



Instructions:

1) Download this torrent and install the 1.2 patch (unless you already have it installed)

2) Move the "Jedii_ob1" folder into your existing profiles folder.

3) Change "Jedii_ob1" into the name of a new profile, exchanging any spaces with _ . eg A B C in-game is input as A_B_C in the explorer folder.

4) Run the game and Create a new profile using the exact same name as the folder. (with spaces instead of _ obviously)

5) Thats it. If you have any problem loading the save games, delete and try again leaving the folder name as "Jedii_Ob1"




As someone who has had the apparently somewhat rare priviledge of completing the whole game, I can tell you that you WILL sometimes, but not often, get:

Crashes on the Geosphere straight after a cut-scene
Crash to desktop during some tactical stages



Both these crashes seem to be related to graphic programming, so if you always use the quick save shotcut (Ctrl + S) at the start of a tactical map and after completing the map you'll always have a good restart position and usually not have to worry about it happening repeatedly at the same point. If it does, move your men or your ship to different places than usual. It -*WILL*- work.



If the bugs get that annoying, just load the next key-stage. There are 11 in total! Despite the bugs and the admittedly unneccessary absolute longness of this game at times, this is still one of the finest strategy games i've ever played and trust me - ive played more than a few! Enjoy.
