KARU - Better than Zuma!!!
Game Gekko who did an excellent job on Bubblefish Bob, brings another fresh twist to the table with Karu. Your shooter is a
statue on wheels that is above ground. Your target is a snake slithering below ground. The object is to eliminate the snake,
whose body is made of balls/marbles. As expected in this style of puzzle game matching three removes the group.
Where do you get the balls? They fall from the sky, and you catch them in your statue's mouth - then you drop them over the
snakes body and they land in between the other balls. There are bonus balls given. If you let the snake get to long, he will
come out of the ground and break your statue on the way out. The sound is adjustable, but, the contrast and brightness is
not. Good for half hour sessions at a time. Your progress is saved on exit.
Suggestion: don't sit to close to the screen. As you must watch are both the falling balls at the top of the screen and the
target, at the bottom, there is greater vertical eye movement needed if you are close up. At a distance it is easier to see
what is going on both above and below.
I'm personally a Bubblefish Bob fan, but this is a good game also. Check it out - it might be right for you.
