Nancy Drew 04 - Treasure in the Royal Tower torrent

Game 4 in the series, Treasure in the Royal Tower is a computer game which was based loosely on a book of the same name. The book is part of a popular mystery series, created in 1930 by Edward Stratemeyer. The heroine of the books, as well as the computer game, is named Nancy Drew. It is based on book #128 in the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. It takes place in Wisconsin.

Plot

Nancy's fun ski vacation in an old Wisconsin castle has been interrupted by a fierce blizzard! Snowbound inside the castle, Nancy learns of an elaborate plot devised by Marie Antoinette 200 years ago to hide a royal treasure. Nancy uncovers the rich history of the lodge, and some mysterious events, which all lead to the hidden treasure. She learns about the eccentric fellow that built the lodge, and that one of the towers is believed to be the last hiding place of Marie Antoinette...now the blizzard has trapped everyone inside the castle, just as Marie was, long, long ago.
