│ "Darklight Conflict is a science fiction arcade style shooter │ │
│ computer game developed by Rage Software and published by │ │
│ Electronic Arts in 1997 for PCs running MSDOS or versions of │ │
│ Microsoft Windows before Windows 2000, and the Sega Saturn │ │
│ and Sony PlayStation game consoles. In this game, you play the │ │
│ part of a contemporary, Cold War-Era human fighter pilot │ │
│ abducted by the alien Repton species during your aerial battle, │ │
│ and biologically modified to become a starfighter pilot for │ │
│ them in their war against the Ovon race." │ │

│ Darklight, while being our first release is also a favourite of │ │
│ ours. It's now abandonware after the company went broke, so don't │ │
│ worry about the FBI chasing you :P │ │
│ │ │
│ The manual is on the disc and the game will run fine on Windows XP, │ │
│ so disregard anything else it says. (If you have any problems try │ │
│ running it in compatibility mode for DOS or Windows 95) │ │
│ The only problem so far is that the intro movie is missing or │ │
│ corrupt or something and generally won't work. Since this was │ │
│ broken on our copy, don't expect a fix anytime soon so just hit │ │
│ space to skip it when the Rage Software logo comes up. │ │
│ LAN multiplayer will work if you install the IPX protocol. │ │
