Wednesday's Child (Ep 1 & Ep2)

A strange man and woman turn up on the doorstep of Kyle Heath, an eleven-year-old local school boy,
claiming to be social workers having received a report of abuse against the child.
As they make the decision to take the child from his mother's custody, little does she know that
the man and the woman are in fact sinister child abductors, who have no connection to
social services whatsoever.
A search for the missing boy soon gets underway, but the discovery of a large quantity of drugs
underneath the floorboards of his living room reveals some rather dark and sinister secrets.


Piece of My Heart (Ep3 & Ep4)

Matt Barber, whose father Jack is a respected high ranking policeman, and is now a London-based
journalist is found murdered in a holiday chalet, owned by Liz Forbes.
Liz was the singer with a 1980s band the Crystal Kiss, along with Martin Soames, who is the chalets'
caretaker. Matt was seemingly investigating the death of another band member John Gaunt,
over thirty years earlier, which at the time appeared to have been an accident.

Bad Boys pt 1 (Ep5)

When the detective's old neighbour tells him she has found a gun in her teenage daughter's bedroom,
his first instinct is to quietly retrieve the weapon.
However, Helen persuades him to do things by the book and leads a firearms unit to take possession of it,
but an innocent man is critically injured in the process, leading to an internal investigation
that threatens to break up Banks's team
