In 1989, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal organized a series of eight tribute concerts to Charlie Haden. All of these concerts were recorded by Radio-Canada, and the majority have been released on compact-disc for Verve. (The concert with Egberto Gismonti was released by ECM.)
