Descending Chaos is a band from Gothenburg with a lot of ambition and the

power of will. With a non- political, but socially critical view they decided to

change the Gothenburg-sound metal, they don't take the genre one step

further; they take a step to the side and step it up.


The band was formed in January 2012 by Peter and Sebastian and since then

have released one single and started working on the first album. They spent

the summer of 2013 rehearsing and after a too expensive pre-production and

a lot of sleepless nights it all seemed to be ready for the studio. During

October the recording started in Rogue Music and Nacksving Studios with

Martin Brändström (Dark Tranquillity) and Isak Edh.

The debut album “Haunted Souls” was finished at the end of February

2014 and was released on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc March 3rd. The

reception was very positive and global.
