* Follow the prompts by the installer.
* Open the new “Play Minecraft” icon now on your desktop.
* Once the launcher opens, input a character name.
* Choose the version of Minecraft you wish to play.
* Click “Launch Minecraft”.

Cracked or Offline versions of Minecraft will only allow you to play on cracked or offline Minecraft servers. If you wish to play on official servers such as Mineplex or Hypixel you will have to purchase the game.

Multiplayer can be accessed from the button on the main menu, either select an existing server to play on or add the address of the server you wish to player.
Most offline servers have their own authentication system that will require you to register or login once you connect. You can open the chat with the “T” key by default.
