A complete remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus for the Game Boy, upgraded to (at least) Super Metroid-level graphics and gameplay. Nintendo sent the original author a Cease & Desist due to this game being an unlicensed commercial-quality. It has been reverse-engineered ("Fair Use" under the DMCA) and updated with bugfixes and new features, such as a "New Game+" mode.
