It’s the funeral of Jean-Claude Delcorps and his grieving widow Goedele is there along with her four beloved sisters, none of which seem distressed by his death. In flashback we learn that he’s so obnoxious, the sisters refer to him as Jean-Claude P***k. It’s one of their politer nicknames for him.

Meanwhile, Matthias and Thomas Dewitt, two amateurish insurance agents who are under pressure not to pay out on claims so frequently, investigate Jean-Claude’s death in case it wasn’t an accident.
