Deep anticipation becomes a reality with the first rehearsal. The pace is a bit overwhelming for some with the thought of looming cuts. Kelli and Judy get a first glimpse of who is going to struggle. Melissa Rycroft makes a surprise appearance at a DCC dance clinic and tells the new girls she will be their mentor this year. She works with two girls giving them sage advice. Emotions fly when a couple of vets have their uniforms pulled because they have gained a very noticeable amount of weight.
