Carmen is now the head of a well-functioning crime empire and her drug trade operation with Rosales is going so smoothly, she even begins to consider early retirement.

1/10. Carmen plans to launder a large sum of money through one of Simon Zwart's construction projects and leave the cocaine business behind. She tries to bring property tycoon Jack van Zon in on the deal.

2/10. Carmen prepares to do whatever it takes to save her latest consignment from a rival gang. Serbian criminal Zarko proves a ruthless opponent, and it seems the Justice Department haven't been so quiet.


3/10. Now her latest shipment of drugs has been intercepted by the Justice Department, Carmen's plans to get out of crime are in tatters, and Rosales holds her responsible for the entire missing consignment

4/10. Carmen is increasingly convinced there's a mole in her organisation. She suspects a number of people, including Storm. John is arrested by the police on suspicion of failing to stop after an accident.

5/10. The Mexican cartel send a delegation to the Netherlands to interrogate Carmen and Rosales. A police operation is set up, headed by Jim Leeflang, aiming to arrest them as soon as they make contact.

6/10. Carmen goes into hiding on an old canal boat that used to belong to Frans. Now that Luther is back on her side, she gets him to protect the children and find out for sure whether Storm is the mole.

7/10. Carmen comes up with a plan to get the seized drugs back from the Justice Department and return them to the Mexican cartel. Leeflang tries to get Natalie on his side, and John decides he's had enough.

8/10. Carmen organises a meeting to clear the air and draw a line under the past, but Berry isn't easily pacified and plots to steal the drugs. Property tycoon Jack van Zon visits Sandrina and Simon Zwart.

9/10. Social Services threaten to remove Carmen's parental authority. She asks Luther to take little Irwan to safety while she makes preparations to leave the country. Jack van Zon holds Sandrina hostage.

10/10. Carmen's plan to flee abroad with the children has come together, but the net is closing around her and Jim Leeflang is hot on her heels. She must risk everything to escape from the world of crime.
