After revealing the killer of Laura Palmer in episodes 15 and 16, it is commonly agreed that the remaining season of Twin Peaks - aside from the finale - was getting sidetracked by many inconsequential subplots.

Twin Peaks Redacted aims to – with all due respect to its original creators – shorten the span of these episodes by removing these subplots and focusing on the investigations by special agent Dale Cooper.

This recut is especially meant for viewers who have seen the complete series at least once already. Some minor hints at subplots could not be removed and might mildly confuse a first time viewer.

Although I think all these scenes add tothe story of Twin Peaks, after repeated viewings you might want to just enjoy the main storyline for a change.
