When he finally guilts Matt into reading the script, there are unexpected consequences: Matt falls in love with the show and wants to play the lead role.

Carol and Helen's relationship continues to hurtle forward at breakneck speed. When Helen gives her a key to her house, Carol freaks out. Beverly advises her to be honest with Helen about her feelings, so Carol tries to put the brakes on. Helen doesn't take it well and, ironically, it's Beverly who finds herself under the bus.
