Three homeless kids find themselves living the dream when they discover that Malcom Mann, the country's biggest TV star, is secretly a robot. Malcom's ruthless producer is desperate to keep the secret so the kids offer her a deal. They'll keep quiet if she gives them a home and they pretend to be his children and get to play out the celebrity child lifestyle. And so a weird family is born.

The minute Holly's back is turned the kids throw a huge party and, thanks to DJ Mal, the party is a huge success. But the next morning Malcom is acting really weird. It seems that someone at the party gave him a slushy to drink, and now Malcom thinks he's in love and is stuck in Dating Show Host mode. To snap him out of it the kids must stage the TV Dating show and help Malcom find his 'One True Love'.
