Pixel when intergalactic beings interpret a file in video with classic arcade game images as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth using these games as models for their various offensive. President Will Cooper (Kevin James) seeks help of his best childhood friend Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), one in the early video game competitions Champion 80 - and now a home theater installer - to lead a team of veteran players (Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad), defeat the aliens and save the planet.
