Een Amerikaanse expatjournaliste, Julia, werkt anno 2002 aan een stuk over de Vel d’Hiv (een
sportstadion waar op 16 juli 1942 duizenden joden, in het bijzonder kinderen, werden
gedeporteerd in Parijs). Ze ontdekt dat een langbewaard geheim het lot van haar schoonfamilie
linkt aan het lot van een joodse familie. Geobsedeerd door dit verband gaat ze op zoek naar
wat er met de joodse familie is gebeurd. In het bijzonder met Sarah, die 10 jaar is als haar
familie gedeporteerd wordt.

An expatriate American journalist, Julia, is working on a piece about the year 2002 the Vel d\'Hiv
(a sports stadium where thousands of Jews on July 16, 1942, particularly children, were deported
in Paris). They discovered that a long kept secret the fate of her husband\'s family links to fate of a
Jewish family. Obsessed by this connection, she searches to what happened with the Jewish family.
In particular, Sarah, those 10 years as her family is deported.
