This album was recorded in the summer of 1965 and originally released in 1975 on the Brazilian label Discos CBS.

Waltel Branco, known as the uncle of psychedelic funk, is the guitarist on a lot of classic early- and mid-sixties bossa albums with outfits including Wilson Das Neves, Eumir Deodato and Ed Lincoln amongst others. He was instrumental in the recording of the classic and highly prized Mancini.




Waltel Branco, born in Paranaguá on November 22nd, 1929, is a teacher, composer and Brazilian conductor with more than 20 albums to his name. Branco has arranged or participated, in some way, in approximately 1,000 Brazilian records during his extensive career.
