This is the story of a young witch named Kiki who has come of age, and in her mandatory year of independent life must journey to find a new community. Her headstrong, resourceful, imaginative, and determined attitude win her friends in the new community, and with the help of her trusty wisp of a talking cat named Jiji by her side she faces the trial which will determine her future.
