De 35-jarige Jean-René is de baas van een chocolaterie. Voor zijn werknemers is hij een koude,
afstandelijke man die altijd het directe contact en conflicten vermijdt. In werkelijkheid leeft
Jean-René echter in angst. Hij heeft immers sinds lange tijd een sociale angststoornis: in het
openbaar spreken, de telefoon beantwoorden, z’n producten aan de man brengen, allemaal
zaken die een ware hel zijn voor hem. Hij besluit daarom een efficiënte verkoopster aan te
nemen: Angelique. Ook zij is 35 jaar, heeft een beetje een streng uiterlijk, maar is professioneel
en zelfverzekerd. Dit is echter schijn want ook zij lijdt aan sociale angststoornis. Aangezien
Jean-René een oogje heeft op haar, zal hij alles uit de kast moeten halen om haar te verleiden.
Hij moet iets doen wat hem nog bij geen enkele vrouw gelukt is omdat hij liever niet met
z’n angsten geconfronteerd werd. Maar ditmaal gaat hij het proberen....

What happens when a man and a woman share a common passion? They fall in love. And this
is what happens to Jean-René, the boss of a small chocolate factory, and Angélique, a gifted chocolate maker he has just hired. What occurs when a highly emotional man meets a highly
emotional woman? They fall in love, and this is what occurs to Jean-René and Angélique who
share the same handicap. But being pathologically timid does not make things easy for them.
So whether they will manage to get together, join their solitudes and live happily ever after is
a guessing matter.
