Set during WW2 in a German prisoner of war camp, this excellent comedy stars Stephen Fry as the arrogant RAF Wing Commander James Forrester and
Nicholas Lyndhurst at the insubordinate ‘Chump’ Cosgrove and Geoffrey Palmer as the Camp Kommandant. Forrester plans ‘The Big One’ the escape of all the 327 prisoners. The only trouble is he expects them to all escape at once. Not only that but the Germans also want to escape as well.
