Jan Wayne (German pronunciation: [ˌjan ˈvɛɪn] (born Jan Christiansen, January 1974, Husum, Schleswig-Holstein) is a German electronic dance music DJ and producer.

The german dj/producer Jan Wayne was born in 1974 as Jan Christiansen. He made his dj-debute in 1992 and after that he "did" almost all great techno-fests in Germany and Austrich. In 2001 he decided to edit some of his favorite songs to techno-tracks. His first attempt was Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse Of The Heart. The track became a great hit all over Europe, and so did the successor Because The Night (original of Patti Smith/Bruce Springsteen). On his first full album Back Again! does Jan Wayne this trick again and again. We hear ‘happy techno’ performances of Only You (Yazoo/The Flying Pickets), She’s Like The Wind (Patrick Swayze) and Take My Breath Away (Berlin). The other tracks are from himself.
