This 3 CD set is an excellent introduction to the utterly enchanting music of Clannad - it focuses on their mid to late period as opposed to their folk beginnings, but for most people this period in focus represents the classic Clannad sound of beautiful vocal harmonies, Maire Brennan's exquisite lead female vocals and tasteful and atmospheric backing. I like the fact it includes tracks from soundtracks and some rare cuts such as World of Difference. It really is a very pleasant listen even for someone who has all the individual albums, as there are really no weak tracks on here. As an added bonus, the mastering seems to be excellent.
