I found this Golden Harvest movie on a VCD. It was on my wanted list because of Sammo Hung listed as the action director. Other than Sammo the only recognizable name is actor Lau Wing. The story is based on the simple concept that the Japanese are the bad guys and the Chinese are the good guys. That concept has fueled hundreds of martial arts movies.
With a combination of hard hitting action, some beautifully framed cinematography, and a suitably fitting score, if you’re after a dose of mid-70’s gritty Golden Harvest style action, then you’ve come to the right place.
