This movie is all over the place. Extra scenes here, mistakes there, injected plot lines that drag the movie down, some good popcorn sci fi plot lines, some over the top drama, some cringe drama and the ever lovable Chris.

I was not going to edit this but stranger things have happened. I really wanted to like this movie.

I could not watch the original version, and I am a fan of summer popcorn movies. After 10 minutes, I had to shut it off.

The drama is all over the place like a wandering abused soap opera writer looking for a substance abuse clinic.

The movie has been edited so the story flows like melted butter over popcorn. No more plot lines that go no-where. Less scenes that pad the run time. So the brain has less time to think about the horrible plot. Now the flick comes across like a good ole sci fi summer block buster, instead of a horrible attempt with tried and already tested sci fi plot lines ripped off from better sci fi movies.


-Changed many scenes for less over the top soap opera drama
-Less scenes that drag or don't make sense
-Small soldiers have less screen time for more realism
-Did I mention less soap opera drama?
-Just enough serious but not too much
-Plot glides along like a cold soft drink with just the right amount of ice
