So you have good information about the new system hardware and requirements. You also have a collection of chip vendor libraries, compiler supported functions, previous generation software, and ideas for new code. How do you come up with a software architecture that can tie everything together to meet the system requirements?
Embedded software source code is synthesized from a variety of sources, including:
* original code written fresh for the new system
