About the band: Malombra is a legendary Italian gothic rock band founded in 1991 by former vocalist of the doom metal band Zess, nicknamed Mercy. From the very beginning until the collapse in 2002, Malombra is, in fact, a project that exists on the principle of "Merci and accompanists", which in no way begs the contribution of its other members to the overall unique sound. After recording three albums, participating in label brothers tributes and experimenting with electronics in the side project Helden Rune, the band ceased to exist.
At the moment, all the members of the former Malombra play in Italian bands of varying degrees of popularity. The founder himself, Mercy, now heads the Ianva group, well known to fans of retro avant-garde.
