It is hard for Poppy James to figure out just the right way to beg PD for what she wants. As a matter of fact she cannot even manage to beg him for what she does not want. She is always a step behind. He gives her an order and she barely manages to grasp it before he has changed the commands. Until she catches up all she can expect is more painful reminders of how slow she is.
