======> Fourier Transforms In Spectroscopy - Kauppinen J.pdf <======

This is the first book to explain certain aspects of Fourier self-deconvolution and linear prediction. Starting from the mathematical fundamentals, the authors cover the applications of Fourier transforms in signal processing and spectroscopy, and also include the field of linear signal prediction which allows resolution enhancement and provides much more useful spectra. Clear and logically structured, the book is suitable for graduates as well as scientists and engineers working in this field.

======> Impedance Spectroscopy, Theory Experiment and Applications - Macdonald.pdf <======

A skillful balance of theoretical considerations and practical know-how Backed by a team of expert contributors, the Second Edition of this highly acclaimed publication brings a solid understanding of impedance spectroscopy to students, researchers, and engineers in physical chemistry, electrochemistry, and physics. Starting with general principles, the book moves on to explain in detail practical applications for the characterization of materials in electrochemistry, semiconductors, solid electrolytes, corrosion, solid-state devices, and electrochemical power sources. The book covers all of the topics needed to help readers identify whether impedance spectroscopy may be an appropriate method for their particular research problem. The book helps readers quickly grasp how to apply their new knowledge of impedance spectroscopy methods to their own research problems through the use of unique features such as: Step-by-step instructions for setting up experiments and then analyzing the results Theoretical considerations for dealing with modeling, equivalent circuits, and equations in the complex domain Best measurement methods for particular systems and alerts to potential sources of errors Equations for the most widely used impedance models Figures depicting impedance spectra of typical materials and devices Extensive references to the scientific literature for more information on particular topics and current research This Second Edition incorporates the results of the last two decades of research on the theories and applications of impedance spectroscopy. Most notably, it includes new chapters on batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, and photochromic materials. A new chapter on commercially available measurement systems reflects the emergence of impedance spectroscopy as a mainstream research tool. With its balanced focus on both theory and practical problem solving, Impedance Spectroscopy: Theory, Experiment, and Applications, Second Edition serves as an excellent graduate-level textbook as well as a hands-on guide and reference for researchers and engineers.

======> Ir And Raman Spectroscopy - Wartewig.pdf <======

An introduction to practical IR and Raman spectroscopy.
This interactive course introduces newcomers to the decisive and central steps involved in IR and Raman experiments, as well as to the processing and evaluation of their spectra. Using the latest OPUS-NT software from Bruker Optik GmbH, readers can turn their PCs into "workstations" for oscillation spectroscopy. The enclosed CD-ROM contains a comprehensive selection of spectra, which may be tailored to meet the user's specific needs prior to further evaluation.
It is this very interaction between text, software and pertinent spectra that makes this a unique guide in the field.

======> The Raman Effect A Unified Treatment of the Theory of Raman Scattering by Molecules - Derek A. Long.pdf <======

Presents a unified theoretical treatment, which is complete and rigorous but nonetheless readable. The theoretical treatment requires a variety of mathematical and physical tools. To keep the main text uncluttered, these tools are developed in comprehensive Appendices to which cross-references are made in the main text. These Appendices also ensure that the main text is useful to readers with a wide variety of scientific backgrounds and experience. These include not only spectroscopists, but also chemists, physicists, biochemists and analytical chemists. The presentation is such that postgraduate and postdoctoral students as well as more established research workers will find it valuable.

About the Author
The author was formerly Professor of Structural Chemistry and Director of the Molecular Spectroscopy unit in the University of Bradford. He is distinguished for his original scientific work in a number of areas of Raman spectroscopy. His book, 'Raman Spectroscopy', published in 1978 and long out of print, was highly successful. He has been co-editor of many books including the Specialist Reports on Molecular Spectroscopy, published by the Royal Society of Chemistry; he retired as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy in December 1999.
