Gods of Egypt è un film d'azione e avventura ispirato alla mitologia dell'antico Egitto. Lo spietato Dio delle Tenebre, Set, ha usurpato il trono facendo precipitare nel caos l'impero, un tempo pacifico e prospero. La sopravvivenza del genere umano è in pericolo ma un uomo eroico, chiederà aiuto al potente dio Horus, e intraprenderà un viaggio per salvare il mondo e il suo grande amore. Un'epica battaglia contro Set e i suoi seguaci porterà dei e mortali nell'oltretomba mettendo a dura prova il loro coraggio.
